<p>I&#039;ve got a project that includes direction sets. For each set I mostly ignore additional parameter and let JAG3D calculate it. But now I need to have statistical tests to be checked in the final report and obvoiusly setting 0 as the orientation parameter is not correct. The software can calculate everything else right, but orientations do fail the statistical tests.</p>
</blockquote><p>In almost all cases, this hypothesis test has no meaningfulness and can be ignored. The hypothesis test is intended for observed <em>azimuths</em> and not for un-oriented direction sets. </p>

<p>I&#039;ve got a project that includes direction sets. For each set I mostly ignore additional parameter and let JAG3D calculate it. But now I need to have statistical tests to be checked in the final report and obvoiusly setting 0 as the orientation parameter is not correct. The software can calculate everything else right, but orientations do fail the statistical tests.</p>
<p>Because of this I&#039;ve calculated them for each set from azimuths of datum points (only datum points in the project), and the statistical tests still fail. I even tried running the adjustment with the orientation parameters set to 0 and then take those calculated values and plug them back and readjust. Still fails, even in the latest version. I am wondering that happens with that and why those tests fail.</p>
<p>Also why do I need to enter them in the arcseconds and not in the degrees?</p>
